Variant feasibility study for sludge WtE plant

The project included a technical and economic study focused on the technological design of a  WtE unit in several performance variants and an economic analysis of the project. The variant solutions were assessed in terms of heat utilisation (electricity production vs. steam for heating purposes) and also in terms of the capacity of the unit since 3 power options were considered.

In addition, a collection study was carried out to map the locations of waste production which were treated according to D01.  The material suitable for energy utilisation was then selected from the other waste. At the same time, the collection routes and the impact of waste transport on the increase in traffic intensity were assessed.
