Modernisation of the industrial sludge incinerator

The project for the modernisation of the sludge incinerator at the Slovnaft, a.s. refinery in Bratislava involved the combination of several proven technologies into one unique unit that ensured optimal operating conditions. The technology upgrade consisted mainly in the improvement of the combustion process by reconstruction of the burner system, NOx reduction, removal of dust, dioxins and furans, acidic substances and heavy metals by means of efficient dry cleaning systems and included a new ash management system. The solution also included a flue gas heat recovery system using a termo-oil system.

As part of the plant upgrade, complete engineering, supply and construction of the entire project including commissioning was provided.
