‍Feasibility study of the WtE plant Písek

A feasibility study was prepared for the company OPDADY PÍSEK s.r.o. for  the construction of a WtE plant with a capacity of 40 to 60 kt/year for the treatment of municipal waste from the towns of Písek, Strakonice and their vicinity.

The study focused on the selection of the suitable capacity, the location of the WtE plant and the selection of the most economically and technologically suitable technology, technological design and descriptions and economic evaluation of the project. The study also included an analysis of the impact of the connection of the WtE plant to the district heating network to the currently operating systems.

The study will subsequently be used for the decision on the implementation of the project, as a starting basis for further stages of implementation and the outputs of the study will be used in the framework of the waste management planning of the South Bohemia Region.
