The subject of the feasibility study was the assessment of the possibility of modernising the hazardous waste incinerator in Brtnice in terms of technological, technical, construction and economic aspects with the aim of increasing the processing capacity to 2 800 t/year. The study described the legislative framework with regard to current and future emission limits and proposed a technological solution considering fully dry flue gas cleaning and heat recovery using a steam circuit, supplemented by drawing documentation. The study also included an economic analysis, which determined the expected investment and operating costs, and a risk analysis, followed by the EIA documentation.
