To remove SOx emissions from the new coal boiler at the Ostrov heating plant, flue gas desulphurisation technology was designed using a conditioned dry sorption method based on lime hydrate. The technology was equipped with flue gas conditioning and dust recirculation systems to increase the sorbent recovery rate. Reliable operation of the desulphurisation system even at limit states is ensured by the flue gas recirculation system.
The scope of delivery included the chief assembly of the supplied technology, supplier documentation and engineering, including testing and commissioning.
