Analysis of energy and economic efficiency of WtE unit

Within the framework of the State Programme for the Promotion of Energy Saving and the Use of Renewable Energy Sources for 2014, a study was prepared to evaluate the energy and economic efficiency of technologies for the energy utilisation of waste applicable in the Czech Republic.

The subject of the study was an analysis of the deployment of WtE technologies in the EU and other European countries, as well as a technological, energy and economic analysis of selected WtE technologies and a simulation of the impact of the application of the draft new waste management plan on the energy utilisation of waste with a focus on mixed municipal waste using advanced software tools.
